Focus on Life – Week 6 {feel the love}

Here it is, week 6 of Sally Russick’s Focus on Life 2013 photo challenge.   The prompt this week – “feel the love”.

One way I feel the love, is when I am making things.   Another way – when I’m spending crafting time with my little buddy.  Oh how he loves to make things with his little hands too.  And that sure makes me happy!

      Thanks everyone! And Susan, you should see my 10 year old’s eyelashes….they are so thick they look like he’s wearing fake eyelashes. He gets lots of compliments on them. 🙂

    That last photo especially is precious. I think one of the most loving things you can do for your children is share time like this with them. You’ll both cherish it in the years to come.

    I’m a true believer in starting your kids off with crafts and creativity early on in life; that’s what my mom did with both my sister and I since we were wee little ones and we both grew up with a love of arts and crafts ^.^

    Lovely pictures Cindy! I love your life captures 🙂

    Making things by hand is so truly a work of love. So sweet to see your son focused on his art.

  19. Sandra on February 9, 2013 at 5:47 pm

    It starts with a mentor and then they blossom into artists. I think there is competition in the Wimmer house. Stay on your game, Cindy. Thanks for sharing the love.

    Cindy, he’s quite the artist! I love to watch little hands paint and how they aren’t afraid to use all of the colors! He’s so adorable!

    I love your photos. Your son looks so serious and his artwork is gorgeous. I love that you cut the hearts out and left him the outlines .. great idea.

    What a beautiful way to feel the love! Crafting always makes me feel love because I am working on something special for someone; something from the heart.

    I also love your heart shaped punch! I have never seen that shape before in a punch. It reminds me of a metal bezel that I have-same shape. I tried finding one over the weekend with no luck. Maybe it is just too close to Valentine’s Day and stores are sold out!

  27. Sumi on February 11, 2013 at 5:33 pm

    It truly is fun crafting with kiddos!! They might sometimes surprise us with some great shapes, or color combinations!!
