Earth Wind and Wire
Remember that hand full of wire links that I pictured a few days ago? They were just the tip of the ice berg. 🙂 Here’s what happens when you keep on working with your favorite “medium”: a super long necklace that just doesn’t stop! This earth-toned piece was created with Fall in mind. At 33″ in length, this stunning (if I do say so myself) necklace will slip easily over your neck and can be worn with just about anything. You’ll find 10 gorgeous lampwork beads by Kim Typanski in shades of ivory, khaki, brown and a bit of rust. The true labor of love (I can’t really say labor because this was actually the fun part) was creating each and every wire link. Horseshoe links, caged beads and spirals, they’re in the mix. This necklace will be a real attention-getter, after all, it’s nearly 3 feet in length and full of one-of-a-kind beads and links.
