All willy nilly
Do you use this word, willy nilly? Apparently Alice in Wonderland did, describing a place where things happened randomly….all willy nilly. Willy nilly sounds so silly.
Today I spent some silly moments with my little guy trying to take pictures for his baptism invitation. The picture will be transformed to look like he’s floating on a cloud. We had similar pictures made for our other sons. The oldest even had his picture made to look like an angel (well with a name like Gabriel…), complete with wings and a halo. This will be my 4th order from Naptime Cards for the occasion. Nathaniel is a little older than the others were, so I couldn’t get him to lay down and just stay down. No, he was rambunctious and had to grab those feet! Now I wonder if I’ll be able to create the look with his legs up in the air like this! I’ll post a picture of the invitation here once they’re completed.

I didn’t mention that word willy nilly just in reference to my little guy. I have a piece of jewelry to show you too…this one has random wire links, a little of this and a little of that. I do like to make this style bracelet because creating with wire can be fun and whimsical. I tied it all together with consistant glass beads. You should see these beautiful boro beads in person, such a deep blue encased in clear.
Here’s another piece made with lampwork, this time with a more subtle feel to it. If you look closely you can see the flower on the pendant that looks a little bit like a Daylily. It’s almost time for those lilies to come out too. Tomorrow will be in the high 60s around here! My kind of weather. I hope you enjoy your Friday wherever you are.
