Double Feature
Here’s a necklace that I made for myself a year ago or so. I wanted something in neutral tones…black, gray and silver. It’s loaded with onyx, peacock-colored pearls, silver, Czech fire polished crystal, mother of pearl and some Swarovski bicone crystals. If you look closely you’ll see it’s actually two separate necklaces made to look like a double strand necklace. I can wear one or the other alone depending on what look I want.
Now fast forward to this week, and you’ll see I’ve revisted this design with an update. Again, I was looking for versatility and a double feature. I used the same beads in a new way. With this design, you can wear the necklace with the single chunky strand of twisted onyx in the front, or if you prefer, the more delicate-looking double strand in the front! The ornate Bali toggle clasp is worn on the side. Voila!
