I am very aware that this is the last Wednesday of summer vacation around here.  Exactly one week from today the kids will start in their new school.  This summer has gone by way too fast.  I wanted today to be a no-running-around-day,  just staying home and having fun.    The weather was overcast so I didn’t feel bad about not being out and about.  We decided to paint little treasure boxes.   We set up an outdoor studio and went to work painting.    Once we were finished we came inside to do some creating in the kitchen.  It’s been way too long since we baked chocolate chip cookies…Toll House cookies were next on the agenda.

On the bead scene, I’ve been working here and there on a fun piece of jewelry.  There will be many different components involved, a real conversation piece.   I’m posting a sneak peak for you here.
