Do you have an old dresser, maybe even an old Victorian dresser?  How about back at Grandma’s house…did you ever get to peek inside that top drawer full of little trinkets and lacy handkerchiefs?  If you could see all of the bits and baubles, maybe you would find some pretty old buttons, or a mother of pearl medal featuring Mother Mary.  There might be beads spilling from a broken necklace.  If you put these pieces all together with some pearls and brass wire and chain, you could end up with a charming little necklace.  Maybe I didn’t find all of these  pieces in a dresser drawer, but I imagine they may have come from one.  Preferably a carved and worn dresser with a beautiful beveled mirror on top.
