Bead Table Wednesday

Just a quick post – it’s been way too long since I participated in Bead Table Wednesday, so I decided to jump in!

I’ve been working on a necklace that became a bracelet and then back to a necklace design….  I’m still working on it and I’ve had to get creative when I realized there wasn’t enough chain or the right number of beads in the colors I wanted.  You know how sometimes designs come together smoothly and other times they are a challenge!?  I won’t give up!  And btw, I’m finally using beads that I bought back at the big Bead & Button show last June!  Hmm…funny, my tools actually match my beads!  Sometimes there’s a pop of bright color over here at sweet bead studio! 🙂

Check out what’s on other bead tables over at the Flickr site!

Nice glimpse of your table – could be something Asian or Southwestern inspired going on there… looking forward to seeing the challenging finished piece.

Ok that table is just way to clean……I wouldn’t know how to work with such a space. I need to really work on mine again…. Christmas did me in. Can’t wait to see the finished piece.

Your bead table DOES look cool! Barbara’s right. I see you have lots of different brands of pliers and wonder what your favorite is. If you have one. I bought the cheapest cheapo ones when I started this jewelry thing and they just kill my hands if I do anything for very long. I’d like to get some good ones but have to be very careful w/ the funds! So I’d love some recommendations. Maybe I should facebook this, too. Thanks, Cindy.

Ohh, I love those chunky beads and the color palette is so lovely – can’t wait to see what you make with them, Cindy!

Intriguing design going on there! Love the colors and the beads – wish I had seen them at Bead and Button! Probably did but couldn’t make a decision! Congrats on using them BEFoRe this year’s Show! That’s the neatest work area ever! Be sure to show is the finished necklace!

True confessions…my bead table only looks neat because I pushed all the extra STUFF to the sides! 🙂 And actually, I usually just sit on the floor and you don’t want to see a snapshot of THAT!

I remember those beads, and spending time at that table! I’ve already sold one necklace with the red beads I bought, and now have pulled down the amber ones.

What ever it turns out to be, I know it will be gorgeous! I love the wonderful colors!

I, too, am loving that color palette! But that chain is VERY cool! The one thing I cannot do is spread out on the floor…way too hard on my back! So, I just keep adding folding tables to my work area and move my chair!

I don’t mind a challenge, as long as I’m happy with it when I’m done, but when it’s not…UGH! I’m sure once you get the bracelet or necklace finished it will be beautiful. I love the color pallette.
