Introducing PicMonkey!

Hello!

Many bloggers and those who sell their handmade work were sad when they learned that Picnik would be closing soon (me included). Now you know, I love taking pictures and editing them.  Some dread this part, but not me.  It is the cherry on top!  I dabble with PSE and used Picnik on the side.  With Picnik closing, there has been discussion about other great options out there.  Pixlr is one good option – a free photo editing program with LOADS of great features.

A site for “fearless photo embetterment” just went live.   I took it for a ride and love it.  Let me introduce you to a witty new photo-editing site:  PicMonkey.

PicMonkey has the features we love:  fancy text, borders, touch-ups and all sorts of effects.  And its good to know that they are adding even more useful tools (such as collages).  Here are some shots that I edited with PicMonkey –

Die-hard Picnikers, I think we have some GREAT options for photo editing!

– Cindy

Love the photos, Cindy. And the heads up about a couple of other options for Picnik. I am so sad about them closing and was at loose ends about where to turn for my photo editing. I’ll definitely check both out soon.

Thanks for a link to a TOTALLY cool site! I went and played with it and it’ll work perfectly for setting up pics for my little digital album (something mentioned in my latest post for having a pocket-show in your purse).
