Spring blooms and Button Swap partners!
Just taking in the local Spring beauty….
Now here’s a little aside…. I’ve been on a bit of  a lucky streak recently and wanted to share a few goodies that have come my way!  I won a giveaway on Kristi Harrison’s FB Fan Page….  just look at this beautiful bunch of buttons she sent!  Nothing like a bunch of buttons!
I got lucky again and won a giveaway on Kylie Parry’s blog. Â Have you ever seen anything like these? Â The earth beads are really cool, and so is that sweet owl pendant (not to mention this great packaging!).

Now on to a Button Swap update for those participating in the Swap! Â I sent the list of partners out over the weekend, but just wanted to be doubly sure and add the list here. Â Please contact me if you have any questions, or if you’re having a hard time reaching your partners.
Please get in touch with your partners and start thinking about the buttons you’d like to send out by April 20th! A big thank you to all that joined!
* Please note that names are listed alphabetically, so you’ll see your name twice.

I’ve saved some of the best photos in this post for last… handmade buttons made by participants in the Button Swap!
Mary Jane Dodd’s metal work  shows incredible craftsmanship with a beautiful, rustic style.  Here are  just a few of her brand new buttons. You can find Mary Jane’s blog here, and her components shop here.
Next I’m happy to share the work of a lampwork artist that I’ve admired since I first started making  jewelry – Marianna Boylan.  She is known for her fun, sculptural beads such as those adorable Mickey Mouse pairs.  You can find Marianna’s blog here and her shop here.
* If you would like me to feature your handmade buttons in a future blog post, please send me an email!
– Enjoy your spring break!
Cindy xoxo

Hi Cindy….wow you won some beautiful things..and Miss Kristi is your button girl..she loves buttons and makes wonderful creations with them..and I just recieved my package from Kylie…two little owls and some amazing beads…..I really would have love to partisipated in the button hop..I have such unreliable mail service it’s not even funny..I heard from Canada post it’s our customs crossing on the Canadian side..I guess they can hold things for no reason for as long as they want..I have about eight packages right now in limbo somewhere…so it wouldn’t be fair to join in…I think I may hop across to Detroit and start mailing from there…an idea from the bead babes..Diana to be exact…well it so nice to stop by..your photos as usual are so pretty…you enjoy your spring break with those sweet young men of yours…they are so sweet….hugs xox Lana 🙂
Beautiful photos! I han’t seen Camellias since I left New Orleans! Gorgeous flowers and beautifully photographed! Happy Easter!
Your photos of spring were such a treat to wake up to. It is simply taking my breath away to see everything come into bloom this year. Sort of like a never ending pageant and so very different from where I lived before.
I am so looking forward to the button swap. It will keep me motivated to get into the studio as often as possible. It could not have come at a better time for me. Thank you so much for hosting it.

Wow – your flowers were beautiful. My camillas were wonderful until the last rain storm beat them down but I picked a whole lot of them before so I could enjoy them at home and work. The buttons you won are beautiful and those earth beads are incredible. I really have to start to seriously consider doing a blog so I can participate in these wonderful hops, etc. Have a wonderful Easter.
