Where did the weekend go (and the school year for that matter)?
Over the weekend we wrapped up the lacrosse season. This was the first time the two older boys played and I have to say the season seemed so much shorter than baseball. On Saturday we headed over to the Luckett’s 10th Annual Flea Market. The weather was perfect for it and I even ran in to a couple friends there. I didn’t buy anything of blog-worthy significance, but we really had a great time. The place was packed with the old painted furniture that I love, and so many pieces had “sold” stickers on them by the time we arrived.

Just 7 months old and I'm an antiquing expert!

People milling about looking for great finds

Just like a jamboree, live music to enjoy by the picnic tables.

A bunch of vintage enamel pins
Speaking of enamel pins, you’ll have to see what Kerry has been up to with these vintage pieces. Just look here to see how she uses these old pins in a modern way by adding her own glass beads!
I am seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. I knew this would be difficult school year…with a baby born in the Fall, moving (as it turned out the same weekend he was born), and carpooling the kids to two different schools with a newborn in tow. But tomorrow starts the very last week of school! I cannot believe how fast this school year has flown by. I’m excited and a little sad (by the way time flies) at the same time.

P.S. Don’t forget to say “Jack Rabbit” on June 1st! 🙂
