Sweet Bead Studio Blog

Hello 2012!

Happy New Year, everyone!

We slipped away to the beach over the holiday weekend.  There’s something wonderful about a beach town when the crowds are gone … and retracing our steps from the summer time.  As many of you can attest, the weather was gorgeous and almost warm this past weekend.  Perfect for walking along the water with shovels and a metal detector.  We drew in the sand, collected shells, and watched many happy dogs that got to take to the beach now that it’s off-season.

I’m looking forward to a new year and an new adventures around the corner.   There’s nothing like a fresh start!  Oh, and I found something I wanted to share, from the pages of my Whole Living magazine….. do any of these thoughts resonate with you?  #10 is really calling to me! 🙂

Thank you for stopping by – I always appreciate your visit!

– Cindy

Thanks so much for the kind words and encouragement you have provided to me over the past year – your friendship means so much to me 🙂 I should print out that page and use all 10 of those things as my mantra for the New Year…I’m going to borrow it!

I copied this, too! It’s great and so many of them resonated — esp. 1, 5, 7 & 10. How nice that you got to go to the beach off season. I love it then when there aren’t the usual hordes of people! Looks like you had fun! Happy New Year, Cindy!

A beautiful day you had. I am smiling at the wonderful pictures of children and puppies……magical moments. So much can happen in a year….life changes sometimes too fast.

Happy New Year Cindy!! Love it that you could go to the beach. It looks so refreshing. Great pics of your kids and you. I liked number 8 especially. I think our blog community relfects that wisdom. I always feel so encouraged by your posts and comments.

I’m of the opinion that beach visits are ALWAYS a good idea, no matter the season! And I’m kind of jealous right now since I have been to the beach in years. YEARS. So sad.

    Happy New Year, Cindy!

How did I miss this post?! What fun to be sinking your toes into the sandy beach, your face warmed by the sun! It’s been nice here to, and I have to wonder when we will get slammed with bad weather. For now, I’m not complaining one bit, but my youngest wishes for snow.

Thanks for the link to Whole Living. I’ve never heard of this before but it sounds like a great magazine (I can feel hubby’s eyes rolling now at the thought of yet another magazine adding to the piles).

I’m looking foward to fabulous things in 2012!
